Streatham Shorts, our well-established September workshop for new writing, featuring unpublished sketches, monologues and short plays is back after last year’s break, and
we’re on the hunt for scripts.

Send your script to us and if accepted we’ll do a scratch performance and discuss your work at our workshop on Tuesday 10th September at 7.30pm.

Submissions (10 minutes maximum run-time; no extracts from longer works) should be sent to info@streathamtheatre.org.uk titled “Streatham Shorts” to arrive no later than Tuesday 20th August.

Please include your name and contact details, the title of the play and the character list, on the document to make our lives easier.

Selected writers will be notified by 27th August and should be available on the night of the workshop 10th September to introduce their piece in person.

Please note: entries may also be subsequently performed by STC actors, for example at our Christmas “Streatham’s Got Talent” event.
