Free Open Auditions for Alice in Wonderland panto

Saturday 19 January 2pm

Tuesday 22 January 7.30pm

Thursday 24 January 7.30pm

Our next production will be a pantomime based on the well-loved story of Alice's adventures, so we are looking for cast and chorus. Auditions are open to all, whatever level of experience (or none). You don't have to be a member, but if cast you will need to join us (its only £10 a year).

Just come along to one of the sessions. Ideally bring a prepared audition piece (no more than 2 minutes) - we may also ask you to read some of the script with others. If you would like to audition for a singing part bring a backing track for your piece. We also have chorus roles for those not wanting to sing solo.

Rehearsals will be two evenings a week to start, with some weekend days nearer the performances. Those performances will be during the Easter school holidays.

Vinters Studio 2, 1b Sunnyhill Road, SW16 2UG.

Tuesday 12 February: Improvisation Workshop

Learn the art of improvisation from Diana Carson-Walker, a professional actor and drama tutor. More details to follow.

Vinters Studio 2, 1b Sunnyhill Road, SW16 2UG.

Members free; others £3.

Tuesday 12 March: Stage Sound and Light Cues Workshop

We will explore how we control the lights and sounds that are an integral part of almost every production and how these are cued to synchronise with the action on the stage. There will be a chance to have a go at following the cues for a short scene.

Fun workshop led by David Harvey. More details to follow.

Vinters Studio 2, 1b Sunnyhill Road, SW16 2UG.
7.30pm (doors 7pm).

Members free; others £3.

We have previously run a number of courses including writing, directing and acting, but we don’t have any scheduled at the moment.
