About Helen
Helen has been involved in devised and contemporary theatre for over 30 years. Her route to acting was through street theatre and carnival. As well as conventional plays, she has acted in, devised and directed festival events, reminiscence projects, reviews, improvisation workshops, street theatre, and site-specific new writing projects.
About the workshop
STC has just inherited a trunk full of hats of all types, shapes and sizes. Join us for this informal workshop using hats to inspire new monologues, short sketches and improvised theatre. Devise a
scene inspired by the hat of your choice. Have fun exploring how the right hat can help devise or unlock a character.
