Privacy

If you provide us with contact details we will keep those details on a computer system but will not pass them on to third parties. If you agree to receive marketing information we will only send you information about the theatre, the company, its members and friends, and any related material we believe to be of interest. You can ask to be removed from the mailing list at any time. Our privacy policy is here.

Venues may be subject to CCTV surveillance. Where events and activities themselves are recorded, e.g. for archive, publicity or broadcast, audiences and participants may also be recorded.

Events, tickets and admission

Ticket sales and admission to venues and events (whether free or otherwise) are subject to the constitution, rules and terms & conditions of Streatham Theatre Company. We may alter our advertised programme should it become necessary. Tickets should be checked at time of purchase as mistakes cannot be rectified afterwards.

We use ticketing services who have their own terms & conditions, and who may charge fees for optional services, such as printed tickets, postage and telephone bookings. There is normally no booking charge for an online purchase of e-tickets. Tickets or e-tickets must be presented, along with any evidence of eligibility for concessions, at time of admission.

As we use a variety of venues, some in heritage buildings, access may be restricted. If you have any special needs please let us know in advance so we can be prepared.

For reasons of security it may be necessary to search people and their possessions. Latecomers may have to wait until a suitable point, or may be refused admission. Refunds cannot be given.

We (and our venues) reserve all rights of admission, to any or all events. We will not tolerate any inappropriate, threatening or abusive behaviour of any kind. We may require any person to leave, and may ban them from further events, at our discretion. We may report persons to the appropriate authorities for appropriate action.

Smoking is prohibited in our venues by the Health Act 2006, except where permitted for performers where appropriate to the artistic integrity of a performance. Vaping is also likewise prohibited.

Performances may also use imitation weapons as covered by the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006. Special effects such as smoke, gunshots or strobe lighting may be used in performances. Material may contain discriminatory or offensive elements which reflect the attitudes and language of the period in which it is set. Please let us know in advance if you have any concerns.

Lost Property

If you leave something behind please contact us as soon as possible. We or our venues will hold on to found items for a short time, depending on their characteristics and value. Perishables etc will be disposed of immediately. Other items will be disposed of at our discretion.
