About Helen
Helen has been involved in devised and contemporary theatre
for over 27 years. Her love of colour and training in interior and
theatre design informs her work. Her varied roles have
demanded costumes suitable for a pirate’s moll, an Italian
prostitute, an obsessive agoraphobic, an elderly sleuth, and a
pregnant housewife. She is a founder member of STC.

About the workshop
Does the character inspire the costume or costume inspire the
interpretation of the character? Join us for this interactive
workshop to explore how the right costume can help devise or
unlock a character.
