About Mhairi
Mhairi is a local director and writer. She trained in directing,
and has been teaching acting for thirteen years. She is
currently writing a novel. Her last play, BECOMING HATTIE,
toured England and came into the West End and is set to tour
out again this year.

About the workshop
Stanislavski was the first theatre practitioner in the West to
propose that actor training should involve something more than
merely physical and vocal training. Stanislavski is now widely
recognised as the” father of modern acting” and most drama
schools base their teaching in his system. Come and get an
insight into what actors do and how they do it. This workshop is
perfect for aspiring actors, those who want an insight into the
industry or anyone interested in public speaking.
