“It’s all Greek to me” – Alcestis by Euripides
Fed up with 2022? Transport yourself back to Ancient Greece by reading a Greek play.
Greek drama, in the form of tragedy, comedy and the satyr play, were the three dramatic genres that flourished in Athens from 600 BC as part of a festival called the Dionysia.
We’re planning a summer outdoor show
Whether you fancy being in the show, helping in the technical team or simply reading a more classical script, join us.
Mike Jennett will introduce us to Alcestis by Euripedes, and share ideas for staging the play this summer as an outdoor performance.
