About Jo
Jo lives in Streatham and is an aspiring comic, director and
writer. She has appeared at several local stand-up comedy
nights, including Streatham Festival gigs. Jo has been part of
the writing team, producer and director for a number of STC’s
recent shows. “MUM” tells the story of 6 characters going
through stages of pregnancy and childbirth.

About the workshop
This informal group reading of a new script will be a chance for
the playwright to stand back and listen to the script come to
life. Bring your experience and insights as an audience
member, actor or stage manager to help Jo improve the
current plot, characterisation and practical aspects of the
staging. An exciting opportunity to contribute to the
development of a new piece of writing.
