Stand Up for Yourself: A Comedy Workshop

with Jo Ostrowska

Second Tuesday Event, Standup Comedy, Streatham Festival, Workshop

07 July 2015

7.30pm. Doors at 7pm.

Admission: Members FREE, others £3, at the door

Have you got a burning desire to stand on stage and tell a joke? Have you gone to comedy gigs and thought you could do just as well, or even better? Are you secretly yearning to become a comedian but you can’t tell anyone? Do you actually dream about standing on stage and making people laugh? If you can answer yes to one or all of the above, then you seriously need to seek out help.

Come along and share your problem with other like minded people and release the inner comedian inside you.

You will have a chance to find out what it’s like to stand up on stage, in front of an audience and tell those jokes and funny stories in a ‘controlled’ environment. We will all laugh at you, but that is the point.

At the end of the session, it might just give you the confidence to go out there and just do it for yourself.

Bring yourself, your scripts/ideas/jokes/songs/dance moves, and also what you drink.
