Sorry we have had to postpone these auditions due to unforeseen circumstances. 

As some of you may know, if a professional production of a show is even potentially planned in a particular area, the amateur performing rights for that show will be withdrawn. This is a particular issue for amateur groups in London.

A professional production always takes precedence over an amateur one, maybe to avoid confusion, maybe in case the amateur one is better, or maybe because professional companies pay more!

Amateur rights for The Birthday Party have been withdrawn in London to protect a potential professional production.

We are now trying to get the rights for God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza, which we had planned to produce last year until (you guessed it) amateur rights were withdrawn in London as the Lyric Hammersmith decided to stage it. Gabe Kellett is still keen to direct.

We have decided to postpone all our scheduled audition dates until the amateur rights for God of Carnage have been confirmed, and actors can be clear about which play they are auditioning for.
