Streatham Theatre Company is proud to launch a Writers Forum that will bring together those who would benefit from joining a group of like-minded creative writers needing support.

The STC Writers Forum builds on STC’s support for new writing, such as our regular Streatham Shorts programme.

Meeting once a month in venues around Streatham, the forum is for anyone who would like to write or is already writing a script, a story, comedy, poetry, whatever – or still figuring out where their writing will take them.

The meet ups will support new writers or writers already writing. A place to share ideas, share their writings, have deadlines and get feedback from other creatives.

It could be just the thing a budding writer has been looking for or might help somebody else overcome their writer’s block.

Come along and say hello, meet other local people with the same creative mind and who knows, this could be the start of a beautiful relationship.

Each month the time will allow people to share their ideas, their thoughts, their writing. We can set tasks for people to have something written by the next meeting and know that it can be read out, acted out, and given constructive feedback. It will allow people to know that their work is appreciated and supported within this group.
